The Superhoo Lithium Battery Cathode Material Recycling Production Base Project in Gejiu City Has Entered The Trial Production Stage

Recently, the lithium battery cathode key material production base project of Superhoo Industrial Co., Ltd. has announced the entry into the trial production stage. The project is a provincial major project jointly constructed by Shenzhen Fluence Technology PLC and Superhoo Industrial Co., Ltd. The first phase of the project started construction in 2022, with a designed annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of lithium carbonate, 15,000 tons of precursor materials, and 10,000 tons of cathode materials. It is expected to reach the planned operational state by the end of this year. Yang Jie, Deputy Director of the Industrial and Information Bureau of Gejiu City, stated that after the project is officially put into production, the comprehensive recycling and utilization capacity of lithium batteries in Gejiu City is expected to expand by four times to the existing capacity, which will play an important role in extending, supplementing, and strengthening the supply chain of Gejiu City's non-ferrous metals and new materials industries.
