CATL: Awarded CCS "Product Inspection and Testing Organization Accreditation Certificate", to Accelerate the Process of Ship Electrification Strategy

On March 25th, the China Classification Society (CCS) issued a "Product Inspection and Testing Organization Accreditation Certificate" to the CATL Test and Verification Center in Ningde, Fujian. This certificate is the first of its kind given by CCS to a battery manufacturing enterprise. The accreditation indicates that CATL has the capability to conduct independent testing, and in the future, CATL's marine products can be tested by their own laboratory, with the testing process witnessed on-site by the CCS personnel. This accreditation will accelerate CATL's strategic progress in marine electrification. The China Classification Society (CCS) provides technical specifications and standards for ships, offshore facilities, and related industrial products, as well as offering classification inspection services. CCS is currently authorized by the governments of 60 major maritime countries and regions, including China, to act on their behalf for statutory inspections of ships and offshore facilities within these nations or regions.
