According to the cost and profit analysis of imported ores by SMM, the profit of imported ores has significantly decreased. According to SMM's statistics, the impact of blast furnace maintenance on molten iron production this week (March 23 to March 29) was 1.889 million tons, a decrease of 67,800 tons compared to last week. The impact of blast furnace maintenance on molten iron production next week (March 30 to April 5) is expected to be 1.761 million tons, a decrease of 133,800 tons compared to this week. Although molten iron production continues to rise this week, the increase is not as high as market expectations, and there is no significant improvement in end-demand. It is expected that iron ore prices will continue to fluctuate in the near term, with a downward trend in the profit of imported ores.
