Growing stocks prevented polysilicon prices from rising

Mainstream traded price of P-type dense polysilicon was 56-60 yuan/kg this week, while that of N-type polysilicon was 71-72 yuan/kg. Order signing in March basically ended. Traded prices of mainstream N-type materials remained unchanged at 72 yuan/kg, while those of some non-mainstream ones dropped to 69 yuan/kg, with 30 mt of transaction volume. Polysilicon inventory, mostly low-quality one, climbed further to nearly 80,000 mt. The inventory of leading plants was still under control, underpinning prices.
