According to the SMM cost-profit analysis, the profit of imported ore has shown a slight increase; According to the SMM statistics, the impact of molten iron due to blast furnace maintenance this week (February 24 to March 1) is 1.7266 million tons, a decrease of 43,600 tons compared to the maintenance impact last week. The impact of molten iron due to blast furnace maintenance next week (March 2 to March 8) will be 1.6125 million tons, a decrease of 114,100 tons compared to this week. Although downstream demand is still in the off-season, with the improvement of steel mill profits and the coming of the peak demand season in the second quarter, some steel mills have resumed production, and the molten iron production has increased. This will provide some support to the ore price, and it is expected that the profit of imported ore may still have the potential for further improvement.
