Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Technology and NIO Energy signed an agreement"

On February 26th, Southern Power Grid Peak Frequency Regulation (Guangdong) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. ("Southern Grid Energy Storage Technology") and NIO Energy Investment (Hubei) Co., Ltd. ("NIO Energy") signed a framework cooperation agreement in Guangzhou. According to the agreement, the two parties will fully cooperate in the field of virtual power plants, battery swap station business, battery recycling and utilization, and other areas, to promote the access of aggregation resources such as charging and swapping stations, energy storage stations, and controllable loads to the virtual power plant platform. The two parties will also jointly build swap stations in suitable locations to promote swap stations as a commercial application of distributed energy storage.
