Tianqi Lithium: Total resources of the Greenbushes lithium mine increased to 4.47 billion tons

Tianqi Lithium recently announced that its subsidiary Windfield Holdings Pty Ltd, in which it holds a 51% stake, has updated the resource and reserve assessment of its Greenbushes lithium mine project in Australia. As of December 31, 2023, the total resources of the Greenbushes lithium mine have increased to 4.47 billion tons, with an average lithium oxide content of 1.5%, equivalent to approximately 16 million tons of lithium carbonate. At the same time, the latest assessment has confirmed and inferred reserves totaling 179 million tons, with an average lithium oxide content of 1.9%, equivalent to approximately 8.5 million tons of lithium carbonate.
