2GWh! Xinjiang to tender for large-scale grid-type energy storage project
On February 20th, the bid announcement for the survey and design tender, as well as the construction drawing stage of the Xin Hua Ush 500,000 kilowatt/2,000,000 kilowatt-hour grid-type energy storage project was released. The project will involve the construction of a 500MW/2000MWh grid-type energy storage system, including a 250MW/1000MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage system and a 250MW/1000MWh vanadium flow battery energy storage system. The scope of the tender includes the design and construction of the Xin Hua Ush 500,000 kW/2,000,000 kWh grid-type energy storage project (including a 250,000 kW/1,000,000 kWh lithium iron phosphate system, a 250,000 kW/1,000,000 kWh vanadium flow battery system, the construction of a new 220kV boosting substation, outgoing lines and adjacent interval renovations, access road and other related project contents). The tender also includes the design and construction drawing stage survey and design, completion drawing preparation, design tracking, and on-site service work.
