SMM News, February 20th: SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index is 95,671 yuan/ton, a decrease of 61 yuan/ton from the previous working day; the average price of battery-grade lithium carbonate is 94,000-99,500 yuan/ton, with an average price of 96,800 yuan/ton, a decrease of 150 yuan/ton from the previous working day; the average price of industrial-grade lithium carbonate is 88,000-90,800 yuan/ton, with an average price of 89,400 yuan/ton, holding steady from the previous working day.

The overall willingness of lithium salt companies to sell scattered orders in the market remains low today, but individual companies are gradually lowering the selling prices of lithium salt. Feedback from downstream enterprises, such as the positive electrode, indicates that current inventory can still support production in the near term, and they continue to prioritize long-term contract deliveries, adopting a strategy of purchasing scattered orders at low prices. Some enterprises are purchasing small quantities of low-priced graphite through trading companies; the spot market transaction prices are mainly trending downward.
