According to data, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2407 opened at 100,400 RMB/ton and closed at 100,450 RMB/ton with a trading volume of 45,180 lots and an open interest of 132,983 lots, a decrease of 2,566 lots from the previous trading day. SMM's spot price for battery-grade lithium carbonate on the same day was 94,300-99,800 RMB/ton, with an average price of 97,050 RMB/ton, unchanged from the previous working day. In terms of trends, the price of lithium carbonate opened sharply lower on the day, falling to a low of 99,550 before rebounding. It once rose by 0.65% and fluctuated upward after the midday session, briefly reaching a high of 101,250 RMB/ton before pressure pushed it back down, ultimately closing up by 0.05%.
