Sources revealed that Samsung SDI recently held a closed-door meeting at its factory in Tianjin, South Korea, to explain its plans for the LFP battery production project to potential suppliers. Samsung SDI is expected to place orders for equipment within this year and start installation next year, with the LFP battery production line likely to be built at the Ulsan factory.
