【CISA: Key statistics of steel enterprises' crude steel daily output reached 2.0939 million tons in mid-January, up 3.70% month-on-month】Data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) shows that in mid-January 2024, key statistical steel enterprises produced a total of 20.9388 million tons of crude steel, 18.9339 million tons of pig iron, and 20.2633 million tons of steel products. Among them, the daily output of crude steel reached 2.0939 million tons, an increase of 3.70% compared to the previous month, and a year-on-year increase of 8.12% on the same basis. The daily output of pig iron was 1.8934 million tons, up 4.95% month-on-month, with a year-on-year increase of 6.20% on the same basis, and a year-on-year increase of 8.10% on the same basis compared to two years ago; the daily output of steel products was 2.0263 million tons, up 6.54% month-on-month, with a year-on-year increase of 11.90% on the same basis, and a year-on-year increase of 5.61% on the same basis compared to two years ago.
