Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 24, Chery's EXEED brand introduced the LX C-DM compact SUV with the 1.5T C-DM plug-in hybrid electric system.

Surpassing its predecessor, the LX PHEV, this system boasts faster charging efficiency and improved fuel economy, delivering an impressive 326 horsepower of power, 80km of battery-powered range, and a combined range of 1,000 km.

Maintaining the sleek design of the EXEED LX PHEV, the LX C-DM features dimensions of 4,538mm in length, 1,848mm in width, 1,699mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,670mm.

Inside, the vehicle showcases a cutting-edge 24.6-inch dual-screen setup equipped with the 8155 chip from Qualcomm, Chery’s Lion 5.0 OS, activation-free voice control, 540° HD imaging, and a 50W wireless phone charger. The sporty flat-bottom steering wheel complements integrated touch controls for the air conditioning. Additionally, the LX C-DM incorporates advanced ADAS features, including full-speed ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) with pedestrian and bicycle recognition.

Powering the vehicle is the all-new C-DM plug-in hybrid electric system, comprising a 1.5T engine, a pair of electric motors, and a 3-speed DHT transmission. With a 19.27kWh battery, the LX C-DM also supports 29kW fast charging, which achieves 30%-80% battery replenishment in just 25 minutes.
