SMM January 25th news, SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index was 95,386 yuan/ton, unchanged from the previous working day; battery-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 93,000-100,000 yuan/ton, with an average price of 96,500 yuan/ton, unchanged from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 87,000-90,000 yuan/ton, with an average price of 88,500 yuan/ton, an increase of 100 yuan/ton from the previous working day. The market situation has not seen significant changes compared to yesterday. Lithium salt manufacturers are still holding firm on prices, although some downstream cathode manufacturers still have a demand for moderate procurement, they remain cautious about high-priced purchases. Industrial carbonate prices remain consistent with yesterday, showing a slight upward trend. Due to the entry of new goods from major brine producers and trading activities of traders, the supply of low-priced industrial-grade lithium carbonate in the market has decreased, leading to a slight increase in transaction prices.
