From the perspective of import profit in the SMM, the profit of imported ore has slightly rebounded; from a fundamental perspective, according to SMM statistics, the impact of iron water brought by blast furnace maintenance this week (January 20 to January 26) was 1.9889 million tons, a decrease of 35,800 tons from the impact of maintenance last week. Next week (January 27 to February 2), the impact of iron water brought by blast furnace maintenance will be 1.9525 million tons, a decrease of 36,400 tons from this week. The production of iron water continues to increase slightly. Coupled with the global decline in iron ore shipping volume, the fundamental support for iron ore has strengthened. Considering the current weakness in the industry chain, macroeconomic news has a greater impact on prices, and short-term iron ore prices are expected to continue to fluctuate. It is expected that import ore profits will remain volatile in the short term.
