Iveco reaches cooperation with BASF on car battery recycling"
Recently, Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco announced a cooperation with BASF on electric car lithium-ion batteries and their recycling technology. According to the statement, the agreement is part of Iveco's circular economy strategy, aiming to extend the life of batteries and reduce the overall impact on the environment. BASF recently established the first battery material production and battery recycling center in Europe in Schwarzheide, Germany, which will be responsible for organizing and managing the entire recycling process of lithium-ion batteries used in Iveco electric trucks, buses, and vehicles.
