【SMM Research: Annual Inspection Ends and Resumption of Production Begins, Central China Building Materials Supply Expected to Increase Next Week】During the research period (January 9th to January 15th), the operating rate of production lines in Central China Steel increased while inventory decreased this week. It is expected that the production of building materials in Central China Steel mills will continue to increase in the next period. Specifically, the environmental impact in the Hubei region has been alleviated, and steel mills that temporarily reduced production in the earlier period have resumed normal production, leading to an increase in the number of rolling mill operating days and a rebound in production. In addition, production days have increased in steel mills that resumed operations in the previous period in the Henan region, resulting in a significant increase in production. Meanwhile, there was little change in the production of threaded steel in the Hunan region. In terms of warehouse inventory, some maintenance steel mills in the Henan region have increased the movement of inventory to the market end, leading to a rapid decrease in internal inventory.
