SMM Iron and Steel Morning Meeting Minutes: Market sentiment is relatively pessimistic, and short-term iron ore may continue to fluctuate weakly. Affected by the decline in iron ore futures and the Tangshan market, the overall transaction in the western Liaoning iron powder market is weak, and the local iron powder prices are currently relatively stable. Local iron powder resources are still in short supply, and the willingness to support prices at the mining and selection end remains strong, with some expectations of steel mill stock replenishment approaching the Spring Festival. Steel mills continue to face pressure on profit, with a relatively low willingness to purchase at high prices. The foreign ore futures market fell sharply yesterday, and domestic iron ore may also be adjusted downward as a result. It is expected that there will be some downward space for local iron powder prices.
