Shandong: Launching the construction of wind-solar energy storage + big data centers, with a renewable energy usage ratio of over 25%

Recently, the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government of Shandong Province issued opinions on accelerating the high-quality development of the digital economy. It mentioned the in-depth implementation of energy electronic "convergence energy" projects, supporting the expansion of the photovoltaic industry in Dongying and Linyi within the national policy framework, supporting the development of energy storage lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries in Zaozhuang and Jining, and supporting eligible cities to expand the production of power semiconductor devices and automotive electronic modules and components. It also aims to enhance the "computing Shandong" capability and launch the construction of "wind-solar energy storage + big data centers". The data center is expected to achieve a renewable energy usage ratio of over 25%, with new large-scale data centers having a PUE of less than 1.25.
