Jiangxi Huili: The Project of 32,000 Tons Retired Lithium Power Battery Recycling and Reuse is Approved
Recently, Jiangxi Huili New Materials Co., Ltd. has obtained preliminary approval for the environmental impact assessment of the project to recycle and reuse 32,000 tons of retired lithium power batteries annually. The project will utilize retired lithium iron phosphate batteries, iron lithium anode cores, iron lithium anode sheets, retired ternary batteries, ternary cathode cores, and ternary cathode sheets as raw materials, and classify and disassemble the recycled power batteries for resource recovery. Through physical methods, the single cell cores will be disassembled and separated for secondary use, with the qualified products used for the production of secondary use batteries. The unqualified products, along with externally purchased waste lithium batteries, will undergo processes such as discharging, coarse crushing, crushing, sieving, grinding, and sorting to obtain lithium iron phosphate battery powder, ternary battery powder, lithium iron phosphate anode sheet powder, ternary cathode sheet powder, carbon powder, copper foil, and aluminum foil for external sales.
