Tesla: Energy Storage Battery Production Capacity Approaches Nearly 40GWh
Recently, Tesla held a land acquisition signing ceremony in Shanghai, announcing the official launch of the Tesla Energy Superfactory. This is Tesla's first energy superfactory project outside the United States. The Tesla Energy Superfactory project was signed and landed in Shanghai on April 9th of this year and will specialize in producing Tesla's commercial energy storage battery product, Megapack. The initial plan is to produce 10,000 units annually, with a production capacity approaching nearly 40GWh. The project is scheduled to start construction in the first quarter of 2024 and be put into operation in the fourth quarter.
