In terms of the profit table for imported ore in the SMM, imported ore profits have once again risen, with some types of iron ore seeing increased profits, but certain types are still in a state of loss. Looking at the fundamentals, as the year-end approaches, there will be a seasonal increase in maintenance for blast furnaces in steel mills, which may lead to a significant decline in daily iron production and a risk of weakened demand for iron powder. Additionally, steel mill profits continue to be under pressure, mainly relying on on-demand purchasing, and there is not a clear trend of pre-holiday stock replenishment. It is predicted that next week, port clearance volume is unlikely to increase, and port inventories may still have the potential to accumulate, which may lead to a risk of weakening iron ore prices. It is expected that in the short term, the profit of imported ore may weaken.
