CISA: Threaded steel inventory reaches 2.93 million tons in mid-December, an increase of 1.0% compared to the previous period. CISA has released the mid-December social inventory monitoring report for steel. In mid-December, 21 cities had a total of 7.19 million tons of social inventory for 5 major steel varieties, a decrease of 180,000 tons or 2.4% compared to the previous period, with a continued slight decline in inventory. Compared to the beginning of the year, there was a decrease of 330,000 tons or 4.4%, and compared to the same period last year, there was a decrease of 170,000 tons or 2.3%. In mid-December, the inventory of threaded steel reached 2.93 million tons, an increase of 30,000 tons or 1.0% compared to the previous period, marking a change from decline to an increase. Compared to the beginning of the year, there was a decrease of 150,000 tons or 4.9%, and compared to the same period last year, there was a decrease of 70,000 tons or 2.3%.
