Gansu's largest wind power project connected to the grid

On December 16th, the Gansu Guoneng Hezhaikou Phase II 50,000 kilowatt wind power project, undertaken by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd., achieved full capacity grid connection on the 15th. The project is located in Jingyuan County, Gansu Province, and construction officially began in March of this year. A total of 8 wind turbine units were installed in the project, with each turbine blade measuring 93.678 meters in length and weighing 27 tons. The unit power of the wind turbine is 6.25 megawatts, making it the largest single-unit power wind turbine unit currently operational in Gansu.
