Recently, the European Commission announced that 15 innovative hydrogen projects have received funding from the European Innovation Fund, and relevant funding agreements have been signed. The majority of these projects were announced in July 2023.
According to the information from the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), all funded projects have signed agreements with the EU Innovation Fund for implementation, and the support funds will be disbursed through this fund. The funding for the EU Innovation Fund comes from the revenue of the Emissions Trading System (ETS) in the region.
