[SMM Iron Ore Weekly Report] Looking ahead to next week, overseas shipments are at a medium to high level, but recent snow and wind may affect port unloading efficiency, leading to a slight decrease in expected arrivals. On the demand side, although steel mill profits have shrunk, losses are small, and normal production is the main focus. However, considering the impact of environmental production restrictions, there may still be an increase in the number of steel mill blast furnace maintenance, and iron ore demand is expected to remain weak. In addition, as the Spring Festival approaches, some steel mills that procure forward sources may start stock-up mode, providing some support to the fundamentals of ore prices.
