Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: China's photovoltaic manufacturing industry maintained high-level operation from September to October this year, with the production of silicon materials, silicon wafers, cells, and modules all increasing by over 60% year-on-year. According to the latest operating conditions of the national photovoltaic manufacturing industry released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology today, data shows that from September to October this year, China's photovoltaic manufacturing industry maintained high-level operation, with the production of silicon materials, silicon wafers, cells, and modules all increasing by over 60% year-on-year. According to the calculation of enterprise information and industry associations announced by the photovoltaic industry standards, from September to October this year, the national production of polycrystalline silicon reached 236,600 tons, an increase of 90% year-on-year; the production of silicon wafers was 87.95GW, an increase of 61% year-on-year; the production of crystalline silicon cells and modules reached 83.81GW and 79GW respectively, increasing by 78.7% and 86.7% year-on-year. In the first ten months of this year, the cumulative production of crystalline silicon cells in the country has exceeded 403GW, and the total export value of photovoltaic products has reached 42.99 billion US dollars.
