The 100MW Jinyuan Wind Power Project Successfully Connected to Grid in Inner Mongolia

The 100MW Jinyuan Wind Power Project in Ar Horqin Banner has finally been successfully connected to the grid. This landmark event signifies the completion of the largest wind power project in terms of installed capacity and single unit capacity in Guizhou Jinyuan.

The project is located in Ar Horqin Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, and is named the Yuanqi Wind Farm. A total of 20 sets of 5MW wind turbines have been installed, with a configuration of 20MW/40MWh energy storage, and the construction of a 220kV substation connected to the Tianshan substation of the Mengdong Power Grid.

The project officially started construction on August 23, 2022, and obtained the grid connection notice issued by the Mengdong Power Engineering Quality Supervision Center on June 30, 2023, indicating that it meets all the conditions for full capacity grid connection. On December 7th, the transmission line constructed by the grid was fully connected, and the project began commissioning.
