SMM Analysis: Domestic alumina prices in November stabilizing after dropping. Price may maintain narrow fluctuation under the struggle between longs and shorts. Overall, on the supply side, in November, alumina production by domestic enterprises has been frequently disrupted by environmental protection, maintenance, and tight supply of bauxite. Along with the price reduction of caustic soda, under the restorative background of corporate profits, the willingness of enterprises to maintain high production and stability is difficult to overcome the bauxite supply problem. On the demand side, the reduction of electrolytic aluminum production in Yunnan has basically ended, and there is no significant variation in demand in the short term. The trend of spot prices lacks guidance from supply and demand contradictions. SMM predicts that, in the absence of apparent supply and demand contradictions, domestic spot prices will remain stable, but in recent days, there has been frequent inquiry about the source of Xinjiang delivery warehouse receipts in the market, so attention should be paid to the subsequent warehouse receipt trading situation and price trend.

신장 보위안 알루미늄 유한공사는 연산 15만 톤 규모의 신형 알루미늄 반제품 프로젝트 건설을 전력으로 추진하고 있다. 신장 준둥 경제기술개발구 화샤오산 알루미늄 다운스트림 산업단지에 위치한 이 프로젝트는 총투자 1억 8천만 위안, 부지 면적 64무이다. 총 건축 면적 2만 3천 제곱미터의 표준화 생산 작업장 2개 동을 건설할 계획이다. 생산 라인 구성 측면에서 이 프로젝트는 알루미늄 봉 생산 라인 2개, 주조 압연 알루미늄 코일·스트립 생산 라인 8개, 냉간 압연 알루미늄 코일·스트립 생산 라인 1개를 갖추게 된다. 프로젝트가 전면 완공되어 가동되면 연간 알루미늄 선 6만 톤, 알루미늄 코일 9만 톤의 생산 능력을 갖출 것으로 예상된다.
