On December 4th, the Ministry of Transport issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Smart Ports and Smart Waterways", proposing the advancement of the construction of port shore power information systems to improve the level of shore power services and shore power usage supervision capabilities. It also encourages the complementarity of clean energy such as "photovoltaic +" energy storage and "wind +" energy storage, as well as the iterative upgrade of equipment. Furthermore, it aims to promote the electrification of terminal handling equipment and increase the proportion of new energy-powered handling equipment."
