Tiangi Materials announced that it plans to invest in the construction of a lithium carbonate project with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, with a total investment not exceeding 1.07 billion yuan, and an expected construction period of 14 months. Company officials told the Financial Connect reporter that they are in contact with overseas lithium ore resources and expect the production cost of lithium carbonate to be lower than the spot price.
