"The first hydrogen energy carbon emission reduction project in China has landed in Beijing, with an expected annual carbon reduction of 24,000 tons.

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment held a press conference on the city's response to climate change. At the conference, the director of the Climate Change Department of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment introduced the nation's first carbon emission reduction methodology for hydrogen fuel vehicles, encouraging carbon reduction and pollution control in the transportation sector. Based on this methodology, a leading enterprise in Beijing's Daxing District, with the help of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Smart Hydrogen Big Data Platform, will monitor the operation of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in real time and calculate the carbon reduction effect. This is the first qualified carbon emission reduction project in the field of hydrogen energy in China, with an expected annual carbon reduction of 24,000 tons. The certified emissions reduction can be used as carbon offset products and participate in Beijing's carbon market trading, with the resulting profits returned to the vehicle's owning enterprise, creating a virtuous cycle."
