State Grid Xinjiang Information and Communication Company recently conducted a charge and discharge test on the UPS power system batteries in a certain information machine room. In order to ensure the normal working status of the battery pack, the company developed a special maintenance plan, clearly defined the work content and division of labor, and required the operators to strictly follow the safety production management requirements and maintenance plan. This test included a total of 8 battery packs, and simulated verification was conducted according to the requirement that the discharge capacity should not be less than 80% of the total capacity of the battery pack, in order to identify aging batteries and eliminate safety hazards. After 10 days of testing, the reliability of the power supply in the information machine room has been improved, providing strong assurance for the stable operation of multiple important systems of the company.
