"Recently, the 2nd section of the Yimen Matou Village photovoltaic project, undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Electric Power Construction Company, has successfully connected 14 arrays to the grid for a total capacity of 53.41 megawatts.

The project is located in the southern part of Yimen County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. The planned DC-side installed capacity is 291.79 megawatts, with an AC-side installed capacity of 230 megawatts. The photovoltaic power station is accompanied by the construction of a 220 kV substation.

Once completed, the project will provide the grid with 398 million kWh of green electricity annually, saving approximately 122,700 tons of standard coal and reducing 63.6 tons of sulfur dioxide, 71.2 tons of nitrogen oxides, 331,000 tons of carbon dioxide, and 12.73 tons of dust emissions."
