Recently, the 35 kV Jishan substation in the old city area of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province completed its technical transformation and officially started operation.

It is understood that this transformation is the first time in Zhejiang Province to apply "wireless public network + quantum communication" technology to the communication of substations, turning wired communication into wireless communication, avoiding the pain points of traditional fiber optic breakage, fundamentally solving the fire hidden dangers, reducing the setting of internal channels in the station, and reducing the communication construction investment cost by more than half. At the same time, new interval does not need to lay new optical cables, realizing plug and play. After the project is completed, the substation will become the first quantum substation in Zhejiang Province.
