"Looking at the profit statement of imported ore in the SMM, the landed profit for imported ore is relatively stable. However, some varieties such as PB powder and Newman blocks are experiencing small losses due to high premiums upon landing. But other varieties are maintaining a slight profit status. Looking ahead, the supply of iron ore is strong and weak, and the fundamentals are weakening in support of ore prices. The main factors affecting ore prices are regulatory pressures and the impact of macroeconomic expectations and data. Key factors to focus on include regulatory pressure, November PMI and real estate data, as well as the impact of end-of-season demand and inventory data on ore prices. It is expected that in the short term, ore prices will continue to fluctuate narrowly, and it will be difficult for imported ore landed profits to have significant fluctuations."
