According to news from Yiwei Lithium Energy, recently, the first high-powered pure electric new energy shunting locomotive equipped with Yiwei lithium energy battery system was offline in Zhuzhou. The locomotive, tailored by Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric for Liansteel Group, uses a large-capacity lithium iron phosphate power battery as the sole power source, with a maximum traction power of 1500kW, making it the most powerful new pure electric shunting locomotive in the country. The locomotive offline this time is equipped with Yiwei lithium energy's independently developed and innovative 1200kWh ultra-high-power liquid-cooled fast charging battery system, which can achieve "super fast charging" of "1 degree of electricity every 3 seconds", and can tow 1200 tons of goods for 128 kilometers after a full charge."
