On November 7th, the photovoltaic project of the soundproof shed on the elevated highway of Shanghai Hongmei South Road officially started construction and was released at the 6th China International Import Expo Transportation Forum as an innovation development achievement of intelligent transportation. The total installed capacity of the project is 1.5MW, which is the first elevated soundproof shed photovoltaic project in China.

After commissioning, the total electricity generation in the life cycle will exceed 37.5 million kWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 31,000 tons, effectively promoting the integration of "photovoltaic +" and transportation, and having good economic and social benefits.
