Aluminum billet inventory largely stable 

The recent extrusion operating rates slightly dropped and market sentiment for receiving goods is average. This week, the aluminum billet inventory remained under 100,000 mt. On November 16, 2023, SMM reported the domestic aluminum billet inventory at 97,500 mt, a 700-mt decrease from November 13, and a 1,000-mt decrease from last Thursday. Although this is still 36,900 mt higher than the same period last year, it's notable that since the short-term peak of 114,900 mt on October 23, the aluminum billet inventory has been falling for nearly three weeks, indicating the onset of inventory reduction.
