According to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the daily output of crude steel in China in October was 2.5513 million tons, a decrease of 3.8% year-on-year, a new low since the beginning of this year; the daily output of pig iron was 2.2319 million tons, a decrease of 6.4% year-on-year; the daily output of steel was 3.6681 million tons, a decrease of 6.6% year-on-year. In October, the output of crude steel in China was 79.09 million tons, a decrease of 1.8% year-on-year; the output of pig iron was 69.19 million tons, a decrease of 2.8% year-on-year; the output of steel was 113.71 million tons, an increase of 3.0% year-on-year. From January to October, the output of crude steel in China was 874.7 million tons, an increase of 1.4% year-on-year; the output of pig iron was 744.75 million tons, an increase of 2.3% year-on-year; the output of steel was 1144.18 million tons, an increase of 5.7% year-on-year.
