Recently, the official website of the Anhui Provincial People's Congress released a report on the implementation of the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations of Anhui Province". Among them, the key work carried out in the prevention and control of air pollution since the 14th Five-Year Plan was mentioned: adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure, promoting the exit of backward production capacity in accordance with laws and regulations, strictly implementing the capacity replacement policy, strictly controlling the new capacity of excess industry, replacing steel capacity of 11.76 million tons, eliminating and exiting casting capacity of 11,000 tons/year, rectifying 40 illegal new casting capacity projects and 589,000 tons of capacity.
