On November 4th, the 1.99 GW distributed photovoltaic project of Dongxiguan Hydropower Station of Huaneng Sichuan Company was grid-connected with full capacity, realizing the "zero" breakthrough of the company's green electricity. This project is also the distributed photovoltaic power station with the largest single unit capacity in the east of Sichuan.

The project is located in Dongxiguan Hydropower Station, Wusheng County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. It is constructed on the self-owned slag dump site of the plant, adopting the "full grid-connected" mode. After commissioning, it can save 529 tons of standard coal per year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1328 tons, sulfur dioxide by 1.13 tons, and nitrogen oxides by 1.14 tons.
