A spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that China's new energy vehicle industry development maintained a robust growth momentum in the first three quarters of this year amid joint efforts of all parties. In the next steep, relevant government departments and regulators will speed up the formulation and adjustment of technical requirements for new energy vehicles that are exempt from vehicle purchase tax, launch pilot zones for comprehensive electrification of vehicles in public sector, pilots for access and on-road access of intelligent connected vehicles, and carry out in-depth activities of bringing new energy vehicles to the countryside.
