Solar Cell Prices Drop Amid Obvious Oversupply

The current price of high-efficiency PERC182 solar cells (efficiency of 23.2% and above) has dropped to 0.50-0.51 yuan/W; the price of PERC210 solar cells has dropped to about 0.52-0.53 yuan/W; the price of Topcon182 solar cells (efficiency of 24.3% and above) has dropped to 0.54-0.56 yuan/W. There is an obvious oversupply of solar cells, and their prices have been adjusted downwards along with upstream cost fluctuations. The current demand for P-type solar cells has declined, while demand for Topcon solar cells has increased. However, due to the increase in downstream self-sufficiency rate and the increase in Topcon outsourcing volume, external procurement has decreased.
