According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the daily output of crude steel in China in September was 2.737 million tons, a decrease of 1.8% year-on-year. The daily output of pig iron was 2.3847 million tons, a decrease of 0.9% year-on-year; the daily output of steel was 3.9273 million tons, an increase of 4.5% year-on-year. In September, the output of crude steel in China was 82.11 million tons, a decrease of 5.6% year-on-year; the output of pig iron was 71.54 million tons, a decrease of 3.3% year-on-year; the output of steel was 117.82 million tons, an increase of 5.5% year-on-year. From January to September, the output of crude steel in China was 795.07 million tons, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year; the output of pig iron was 675.16 million tons, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year; the output of steel was 1028.87 million tons, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year.
