【SMM Iron Ore Weekly Report】Looking ahead to next week, if the third round of coking coal prices land, steel mills losses continue to increase, or lead to other steel mills blast furnace shutdown and maintenance increase, iron ore demand may further decline significantly. Superimposed with the important meeting of the Belt and Road Initiative in Beijing next week, environmental protection and production restrictions may be further tightened, affecting some demand in Hebei Province. In addition, the overseas shipment volume increased significantly in late September, and it is expected that the arrival volume will increase next week. The contradiction between supply and demand continues to increase. Considering that the market still expects economic stimulus policies, the downward pressure on iron ore prices is still hindered, and it is expected that the ore prices will remain weak and volatile next week.
