The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held a briefing on the economic operation of central enterprises on October 10. The meeting required that central enterprises should make every effort to ensure energy and power supply, actively prepare for peak winter, increase coal production and supply, do a good job in advance in the maintenance of power generation equipment and coal storage management, strengthen power grid line maintenance, and make every effort to ensure the demand for electricity and energy. Solidly carry out the debt clearance action, take the lead in repaying other enterprises' accounts receivable, and strictly prevent the arrears of migrant workers' wages. Strengthen safety production, strictly implement the safety production responsibility system, increase safety inspection and eliminate hidden dangers with a cautious attitude, and resolutely prevent and control major and special accidents.
