At this year's China-Central Asia Summit, State Power Investment Corporation International, Kazakhstan Energy Ministry, Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, and Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the construction of 1GW wind power + energy storage in Kazakhstan.

As a blue sea market for light and storage in Central Asia, other countries' new energy enterprises have also been attracted to layout. Masdar, a renewable energy company from the United Arab Emirates, reached a cooperation with Uzbekistan in May this year, and will develop more than 2GW of photovoltaic and wind power projects and 500MWh of energy storage projects in multiple locations in the country.
