Recently, Hunan Desai Battery revealed during an institutional research that the company's self-developed sodium-ion battery is planned to be completed in the same year and can reach mass production conditions in the first quarter of 2024. According to the data, Hunan Desai Battery is one of the four subsidiaries of Desai Battery, a listed company of Desai Group, mainly engaged in battery manufacturing, sales, energy storage technology services and battery leasing.

On May 19 this year, the energy storage core project of Hunan Desai Battery was put into production in Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Changsha City, with a total planned capacity of 20GWh. At present, the first phase project of lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery has been fully completed.
