Polysilicon Price at Downside Risk in October on Potential Inventory Build-up

SHANGHAI, Sep 26 (SMM) –Last week, recharge polysilicon was priced between 76-90 yuan/kg, and dense polysilicon between 75-87 yuan/kg. Prices were stable with no significant market transaction changes. However, silicon wafer prices have started to drop significantly, undermining market confidence. Concurrently, with increased polysilicon production, silicon wafer factories are likely to cut down polysilicon purchases, which could lead to inventory build-up, potentially causing a price decrease in October.
